Flavonoids
Flavonoids, also known as bioflavonoids, are a family of chemical compounds that belong to the polyphenols found in many plants. They act as plant protectors and are particularly abundant in fruits and vegetables, such as capers, arugula, dill, apples, onions, blueberries, lingonberries, blackberries, cranberries, raspberries, red and black currants, broccoli, citrus fruits and green tea, among others.
